Founded in honor of SaBastian "Bash" Townes

Building the
youth & the
future.

Every young person deserves the opportunity to be seen, supported, challenged, and inspired. Legacy54 creates experiences that help youth build confidence, character, discipline, and direction — on the court, in the classroom, and in life.

The Story Behind 54

Before there was Legacy54,
there was a friendship.

Legacy54 was founded in honor of SaBastian "Bash" Townes — my best friend turned brother, and someone whose life continues to shape everything we do.

We met as kids on AAU courts and stayed side by side for most of our lives — through high school, and all the way to Division I basketball at Bryant University.

But what we had was more than just basketball.

When his life ended unexpectedly, his impact didn't.

His journey became our mission.
His legacy, our opportunity.
His number, our name.

Our Mission

Building the youth & the future.

Legacy54 is dedicated to empowering youth through mentorship, leadership, athletics, education, financial literacy, scholarships, and community support.

Our mission is to create opportunities that inspire growth both on and off the court, while helping young individuals build confidence, discipline, character, accountability, and direction for their future.

Through meaningful relationships, community engagement, and personal development, Legacy54 strives to positively impact the next generation and build a lasting legacy that extends far beyond sports.
